Preparation:
- Peel the plantains and cut them diagonally into slices about 1 cm thick.
- Fill a frying pot about one-third full of oil and heat it to about 180 Β°C.
- Deep-fry the plantain slices in portions for about 2 minutes each.
- Take them out with a skimmer, put them on a board and flatten them with a second board or a glass.
- Put the pieces into the pot again and deep-fry them until golden.
- Drain the Patacones on household paper and salt them according to taste.
